OpenAI is on it’s Way to Killing Hollywood

OpenAI Vs. Hollywood

OpenAI is unveiling an artificial intelligence tool capable of creating realistic videos that will shock the audience. Especially when they learn the hyper reality is in fact not real. This being the San Francisco startup’s first major encroachment onto Hollywood.

Complex scenes with a multitude of characters includes shots with realistic details to fool any audience. In relation to their backgrounds short videos the company generated within minutes of text prompts only has a few inconsistencies. The trailer includes an astronaut traversing a desert planet and an AI scene of a creature kneeling beside a melting red candle with shadows drifting in the background.

With the advances in AI it is fair that there would be some concern for Hollywood. Being capable to generate film would revolutionize the we make movies. But, AI can not do it all. Mistakes are still made and computers can not convey emotion like humans can. The amount of time it take a writer to come up with the correct way to code a question or problem for a computer is extensive and take extreme precision.

Hollywood will still need actors and will still need writers no matter what happen with AI. Even with more advancements there are still enough human needed professions to specialize in that Hollywood would still have a chance at surviving.
